I'm trying to locate the Oil Dumping Placard and the Garbage dumping placard for my boat.

I have searched the marine mega mall and only found a placard for "No Illegal Drugs" placard.

I even emailed my local watercraft authorities and haven't got a response on where to purchase them.

If iboats does have them, I will be happy to buy the placards from them.

Any help on locating these placards would be appreaciated. Thanks

Thanks Drowned Rat, but exactly where are they located? Tried the search, but still not what I'm trying to find. Could you narrow it down in where should I look? Thanks

Re: Oil Dumping and Garbage Placards

search for "placards" The one they sell probably has more info than you want, but it does meet the requirement. And oh yea, sorry about pulling the WM card. it won't happen again.

Another thought SS Mayfloat. You can make your own. All you need is a typed page put in a plastic sleeve or laminated. Post it and it meets the requirement. I'm sure you can find the language by doing a Google search. Look at the USCG website too.

Re: Oil Dumping and Garbage Placards

SS MayFloat
Correct me if I am wrong but I do not think required unless over 26 feet. Also I see the Coast Guard handing them out at Boat shows so may also be able to get one from them.
I know I have several around here but so far have not been able to find one.
I have not put one on my boat yet, but every one I take on my boat first thing I do is tell them nothing except fishing lines and bait go in the water. Everything else go in one of the three garbadge cans on board.

Re: Oil Dumping and Garbage Placards

Boatist, my craft is 27' which Ohio is now requiring the garbage placard. The oil dumping one is also required, which I want to replace since it is in bad condition. Thanks for the help. I would still like to find the real deal.
