oil/filter change question

hi I have a 1982 sea ray with a 5.7/260 hp mercruiser,,,,,,and was wondering I see two things that look like oil filters,,,,one is in the regular spot down on the block,,,the other is in the front on top,,,or is it not a oil filter,,,,,,,,,was wondering what kind of oil I need and how much and what kind of filter/#,,,,,,,,,,,ty

Front of engine = fuel filter

Underneath and to the rear = oil filter

Ayuh,.... It should take 5 quarts, 'n the filter is the standard SBChevy filter used since the 60s,...

Yer choice of oil is Entirely up to you,... basically, it don't matter, so long as it's clean fresh Motor oil,...
