Oil filter location 2000 4.3 Volvo penta

We just bought a 2000 Monterey 180 elite with the 4.3gl Volvo penta motor. I want to do an oil change but can’t seem to find where the oil filter is. From what I can find online it’s a remote filter but I can’t find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction and or send a pic please.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... If it's a remote mounted, it should be obvious on the portside of the motor,....

If it's block mounted, it'll be way down low, aft on the portside of the block,.....

2000 4.3 GL or GS
There's 47 different 4.3L listed in the Volvo parts.
Like Bondo said, the filter can be on the top or down low?
