Oil Filter Recomendations

I am looking for an AC or Fram oil filter to use instead of the quicksilver (I think AC makes QuickSilver??.) Also looking for anyone who has changed to an oversize filter to add to the oil capacity. <br /><br />I have a 74 Mercruser I/O 140 hp and currently use a QuickSilver 14957 filter.<br /><br />thanks

I used Fram PH30 oil filter for my boat which is similar to your boat engine size.
