oil gas ratio lost for model HD-25

I have a Johnson seahorse model HD-25 and i need to know what the oil to gas ratio is to run it. please tell me where i can get a manuel.

not real sure but a guess would be 24:1 that motor was made between 1946-1950

pre 60 johnsons 24:1 use outboard rated oil

that is one quart of oil to 6 gallons gas right

it is not getting spark to what is the matter withit

blue- I'd suggest starting another thread for the spark issue - a lot of people won't read this thread (about oil ratio). If you post a new topic, you'll get lots of great advice. Good luck.

STOP!!! Too many wild (and wrong) guesses.<br /><br />HD-25 is a 1946 to 1950 model, yes. <br /><br />It uses a 24:1 mix which is one quart TC-W3 outboard oil to 6 gallons of 87 octane unleaded regular. Also correct.<br /><br />OMC engines before 1964 use the 24:1 mix. 1964 and later engines use a 50:1 mix. 1960 is the wrong year.<br /><br />You can get an aftermarket Manual here: http://www.boatmotors.com/manuals.html <br /><br />Good luck. :)
