I have a 1994 mercury 60 HP 2 stroke.Been dealing with this oil horn going off for some time.I replaced what i thought might be the problem;checked all the usual , sensor, float, etc. It all came down to the main harness plug.I guess from removing the oil tank so much and comming in contact with that plug all the time ;it lossen it up.Plug it back in but if you touch it or wiggel it, the horn goes off and on,Do ineed to replace the harnes any thoughts, or ideas on what i can or should do.

Oil horn now gone to sleep. What i did was that i put a plumming clamp around the plug at the point where the prongs sat on the inside of the plug.No more noise, time to fish.
