Oil in lower cyl ! rings or crank seals ?
I have recenly removed my cyl head from my 1991 150 force and notice a lot of oil in the #5 bottom cyl . the excessive fuel seems to be only laying in the bottom side of the cyl . When I turn the fly wheel by hand it seems to pump more fuel up from the bottom side of the #5 piston bottom side around the rist pin area . before I remove the head I had 150 psi in all cyl . I had a smoking problem and was looking into a bad head gasket when I notice the fuel in the # 5 cyl . I wanted to know if I could be getting fuel in the cyl from bad ring or broken crank seal and still have good comp in that cyl ?The engine was rebuilt a year ago ran well but then starting to smoke bad it still starts first turn of the key buts smokes bad. Thanks for any input that you can provide . JB
