oil injection problem

I have a 1993 150 pro v with a precision blend oil injection system. The remote tank is not filling the engine tank. I put direct 12v to the blue\brown leads on the remote tank and the oil pump runs fine. When I use the override toggle nothing happens and I register only 6v at the remote tank. when the the oil level drops in the engine tank the alarm sounds and the rpms drop. Can the tilt sensor switch be faulty? Can this shut down the pump. Using my multi- tester I read 6v across the black/orange and no change when the switch is depressed and I read 6v across the black/pink but voltage decreases with activation of the switch. Is this normal operation? should it not be 12v at both locations? Any suggestions? Am I dealing with a broken wire as noted in other similar posting?
Cheers!

Re: oil injection problem

your on the wrong wires.
the orange wire is a 5 volt wire. the 6v on the brown wire indicates corrosion. pump wont run at 6V. fix the conections on the brown and blue leads, check the brown wire from the remote connectorto the engine block for 12 V. the blue wire is the ground path for the pump.
the tilt sensor is overridden whith the manual switch.
