Have a new 2011 Suzuki DF2.5, with about 20 hours on it. It has a slight, slow engine oil leak that I'm 99.9% sure is coming from the drain plug (a crappy .15 cent flathead screw). This has been going on since day one I believe. I replaced both the drain screw and washer, with correct Suzuki parts. But it is still dripping. I've been checking it each morning, and tightening it a little more each time. It's slowed to a drop or two in a 24-hour period. At this point I've torqued it down as hard as I can/willing to risk without stripping something.
Anyone else have similar experience with this or similar Suzuki poduct? I guess I could try adding some thread seal, but it seems wrong that I'm having to muck around with a new motor like this. My closest dealer is far away.
