oil leaking from water intake on 7.5

any ideas on what seal needs replacing? after pulling lower unit are there any special tools needed to replace seal? any advise would be appreciated. the motor is a 1976 merc 7.5 ~Aaron

It sounds like the driveshaft seal is leaking pull the impeller and then the pump housing will pry out, check the shaft if it'e scored get a seal sleeve from a auto parts store and when reassembling the pump be sure to seal the pick up pipe well so it won't such exhaust.
