oil mix

i have been using 50:1 oilmix for my jonny 60hp 2cyl seahorse o/b, noticed that it is a little smokey when made to work hard. is mix correct?

50:1 is right.<br /><br />The engine could be running rich, or getting low on compression.<br /><br />TMD
