Oil, oil, oil... it never ends

Someone told me that the Rotella synthetic wasn't a true synthetic.... but was a very good grade III, or whatever the III oil is called, oil What's is real skinny on this stuff?

Yep, that someone was right on the money!<br /><br />Its a group III, a Highly refined hydrocracked petro oil. The courts say you can call it a synthetic so they do. It is a very good oil though and I wouldnt split hairs here. Performance wise I seriously doubt you woud notice any difference at all.
