Re: oil pressure sender

The oil pressure sender is a plug-like switch placed somewhere near the oilfilter, on the block.

Isn't it possible to find the wire on the instrument and follow it towards the engine? At the same check for errors or damages to the wire?

Along with the connection at the sender (single wire, color?) on the in-jun :) , check and clean both positive+ and negative- at the back of the gauge connections...

Bad/loose connections at any of the gauge connections can cause the problem you describe...
