Hey guys I’m trying to troubleshoot my oil pressure sender on my 4.3l if I take the wire off the sender and ground that to the engine is the gauge suppose to max out or is it suppose to stay at zero with the engine off but key in on position?
If you have 12V on the purple wire on the gauge
If the gauge is grounded
If this is the oil sender (light blue wire) and not the oil pressure switch and when grounded, it will peg the gauge
