Finally started working on my almarine with an 120hp 2.5l engine
the boat isnt used for 4-5 years
got the engine cranking but i dont get any oil at the valves, oilfilter or oil presure sensor

is there any way to prime the oil system before firing it up? ( like a v6 of v8 with a prime tool through the distributor hole )

thanks

Sparkplugs out
rotor is turning ( but the previcious owner swapped the points distributor for a electrical, so he might have done somethin wrong )
oil level at max
ive cranked it aprox 2 minutes with short brakes after about 15seconds

does the engine rotates clockwise or counter when cranked?

the valves will take a bit of time for the oil to get there. however you may need to crank for a while, or spin the oil pump with a drill

Is that the same “drill” tool as a v8? Or do in need to take my spare distributor apart and use that lower part?
