I bought a 2003 f-150 4x4 with the 4.6 triton about a month ago.I will be changing my oil soon, and not really sure what i want to put in it.The factory recommende 5w-20 year round. Is this the best oil for the truck....or how about synthetic and what would be the best brand and weight?<br />Thanks for your expertise.

If you want to stay all Ford, the 5W-20 that Sells under the Motocraft label is a Synthetic blend and is a great oil. Stick with the 5W-20 recomendation.

Ford recommends the 5W-20 oil but it must meet the WSS-M2C153-H specification. Not all 5W-20 oils will. Mobil, Shell, Quaker State, Pennzoil, Castrol, and other 5W-20's will.
