Excuse my not so clear question u may have a better idea where I'm going. Season start up,
Carb no fuel coming in. Question if I want to check the oil sensor how do I check that.
I also thought about running a temp jumper wire to see if ele fuel pump s

I was told the oil pressure sensors send s the power to ele fuel pump

Anyone have any advice or thoughts beside the obvious of waiting my turn for the mechanic to show up

Not knowing what you have makes an answer difficult but in most cases you will find a pressure switch with 2 wires just above and foward of the oil filter . shorting them together should power the fuel pump. when replacing the pressure switch , include a relay to power the fuel pump

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... The fuel pump should get power through the oil pressure switch, with the key in the "On" position,...

The fuel pump get's power from the tiny terminal on the outside of the starter's solenoid, when the key is in the "Start" position,....

As BD says, the pressure switch is usually port side way down low, just forward of the block mounted oil filter boss,....

Jumper it, 'n there should be power to the fuel pump,.... with the key in the "On" position of course,.....
