oil warning at high rpm only

I have a Yamaha outboard 150 that the oil warning indicator only comes on during high RPM operation. I can run all day around 3500-3700 RPMs or under. Any suggestions???

are you getting the three blinking lights on the warning system? if so, it's due to an oil transfer problem from the remote tank to the engine tank.
there is an external filter(small) on the outside of the remote oil tank that can get gummed up. replace it or clean it out with carb cleaner.
