I have a 99 Bayliner Capri
3.0 & Alpha 1

I looked all over that dang boat for the Oil and WT alarm and for the life of me cannot find it. It does not beep when you first crank the boat like a lot of my buddies boats do. I like the thought of have redunancy with the temp and oil presssure. Any thoughts as to where it may be on the boat? Thanks for the help!

Re: Oil & Water Temp Alarm

Look for a small black plastic horn hanging from the wiring under the dash.

You should have a single wire temp switch and a single wire oil switch both on the motor. Ground either of these with the ignition switch 'ON' should make this small black plastic horn alarm.

Not all units have the oil alarm, many only use a temp alarm.
