First Thankyou Don S for providing the link the other day to the online mercury service manuel. My mechanic had told me the pump needed a good cleaning because there was so much give in my outdrive if you push down on it. He was going to charge me $300 dollars for doing it, said it was pretty labor intensive. I was looking at the online manuel and it seems like there is a rebuild kit for this and seems to discourage taking apart pressure valves and just cleaning them. Is it hard to get them adjusted correctly, should I just buy the new ones and put them in?

I looked at the doug russel site, that pump shows for an Alpha I gen II, mine is a gen I, where can I find the rebuild kit? I didn't see them on doug russel. Thankyou!

The Trim Pumps are Interchangable........

Trash the 1 you've got,+ replace it with 1 of the newer Plastic Tanked 1s........

No Way I'd spent $300.00 on the 1 you've got..........
Not when a $350.00 1 will do the Exact Same Job,.... And is a Newer Issued Model........
