Does anybody see a problem trailering my boat at highway speeds (70mph) with the bimini top up but stored in the boot with support bars as illustrated in this photo ?

Not the worst thing in the world. I do it , but for any great distance I would lay it down. The system is plenty strong, but she will tend to dance around and sway side to side on you. It shouldn't impact your boat at all but it could cause some wear at the mounting points you don't need and you will get lots of dead bugs on the boot.

FWIW

I tried it and was sorry I did. It all depends on what and how well it's bolted down. Mine is attached to the window trim. After I arrived at my destination I noticed that the trim had lifted/bent up about 1" and put a kink in the aluminum. I had to take it apart and straighten it out but couldn't get the kink out. I would not recommend it. Lay'em down!

I ride motorcycles....if that thing ever came off and hit me, you would be VERY sorry, wouldn't you. Be responsible.
