OK, what the heck?

Alpha one drive, is there suppose to be a water trickle coming from the little hole/cavity on the drive top cover when running on muffs? Is it to tell if your pump is working when it's in the water? "I hope" I'm going to look in the manual but i've read quite abit of it and dont remember that part.

861738 this a part number for a plug that goes up under the top cover on the drive. pull off the top cap and on the very back see if theres a black plug there.

do you have an alpha one i forget

It's full of fresh new oil, i pressure tested it and it was fine? A plug under the top cover? It doesn't allow water into the gear case does it?

i think that plug is to cover the access hole for the trim tab cap screw hiding underneath it. on the gear housing..

i'm not understanding i don't think. the top cover. the one with a brg. mounted in it. that supports the vertical drive shaft w/driven gear? the cover that's screwed to the top of the upper with 4 exposed bolts.

It's leaking out this hole, see pic

That is not a hole just a relief to allow you to pry off the top cap.

No should not be water coming form there.

How/why would water be way up there? Doesn't make sense. Well i guess i'll pull the cover and see about this plug in there. Anyone ever see this before?
