OK Who Cursed My Sable?

Took the car to work tonight. Finally happened. <br /><br />About 10 miles into the drive a decent size doe comes shooting out of the woods to my left and runs head first into the driver side of my car as I've got the cruise set at 60. Knocked the ***** down but it got up and kept running. Somehow there's not a mark on the car. Made a hell of a noise when it hit me so I know it made good contact. I'll get a better look in the daylight but as far as I can see now there's not even a scratch. <br /><br />Would have been interesting on the motorcycle, only reason I didn't take it was because my mother called me a couple hours before I left for work and asked me to pick something up for her on the way home this morning.

Yeah, its that season again and they are on the move. Dusk and dawn is really bad around here also. Lots of them have been entering businesses and homes causing havoc.<br /><br />SN, glad there wasn't any damage beyond the car. Every year Ohio has a lot of fatal deer/car accidents. I've been lucky, a couple of years ago I had one hit the right rear quarter panel of the wifes car. The deer flipped clear over the car, landed on its feet and kept running. Then to think that some people think these animals are so fragile. Guess they never encounter a pissed off deer in their house, or the deers body laying inside their car wrapped around their heads.<br /><br />I still say the best place for a deer is in a freezer, then the fire, and into my gut! Very tasty! I just love having Bambi for a BBQ!

Nothing like a well prepared tenderloin. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.<br /><br />Yeah I was hoping it would have dropped, I would maybe have tossed it in the trunk and headed home with it. <br /><br />But it just took it's lickin and kept on tickin.

When i hit and killed my first deer , everyone in town ask me how it tasted.. Tasted, I'm just glad it rolled off the roof.. Believe me that thought never intered my mind, But it was a 4 pointer and fully aged at 275lb. at least that is what I was told the next day.. I heard it was good size deer. Son called it commit..

lots of accidents here too these time of year,i've been seeing alot at night in the feild.i love deer tried to cook some ribs once wasnt to good about like a 4 yearold emuo.

I once counted 26 dear in a 2 mile stretch up north last summer. Never have I driven so slow before.

Ya, it took 3 guys from the workcamp to help move it off the road.. My roof was just smashed down on my head. When I sat up completely head was touching.. You could say it did a 360 in air after smashing the right side hood and lights out of car and landed on roof.. I think it snapped its neck, because it head was pionting to rear.. One of the guys helped me push part of the roof up so I could drive.. I was so lucky the thing didn't come threw the windshield.. Real lucky..
