Old boat lights / parts - Any idea what these are?

I inherited a box of what appears to be old metal boat/marine lights (one red glass, one green and one clear). Also in the box are some heave steel other body parts. Just trying to get any info on what they are, who might want them, do they have any value. ANY info would be helpful getting started in my research. Im a land lubber and out of my element. If they don't have and reasonable worth I would like to at least get them into the hands of someone who could use them.

Many thanks!

Boats have red and green lights up front (forward) These can be one unit or separate. The chrome things look like vents and yes it looks like a box of marine parts. Here's a link to a company that sells old boat fittings. Maybe you can match what you have with parts in this catalog so you know what you have.

As much as I'd like to say 'Nah, just worthless outdated stuff that you don't need, . I'll give you $20 for all of it", I have to say that what I can see in the picture, if chrome on bronze (and is if it is true 'vintage' stuff 1930 's -1950's by the styling I'd say), you should be looking at a couple of hundred or so on eBay. - EBay is quite frankly probably your best route for realizing their value, because of the broad market that it reaches. The market interest in good size vintage and antique wooden boats is such a niche market that a ‘brick and mortar’ type of store is not going to bring much exposure for these. By the styling and size of these pieces, I’d say they belong on a boat of 30-50 feet. …. If you do find yourself just needing to find a ‘good home’ for them I can certainly offer that. lol

They have some value and a buyer will determine it. I'm searching for a pair of even larger lights-- want to marl port & starboard on my garage. The devil with the HOA.

welcome to iboats

I see stuff like that all the time at yard sales, estate sales and boat junkyards. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands, you won't get rich selling them but it could be fun, knowing they are going to a restored boat. An antique dealer won't give you much for them but he'll sell them eventually--so don't think what you see them priced for is what you can get. you may be able to trade the whole box to a dealer for something.

your location will affect value and salability. They would sell at a tourist antique shop on the coast. "We buy junk and sell antiques"

they can be worked into decor if done right but not so well like the larger lanterns, blocks, etc. Power the lights with 12 volt.
