old compass lens

Does anyone know if it is possible to rub out <br />spider-like webbing cracks on the surface of my <br />weather exposed compass lens? It's a Gemini type<br />bubble bulb type compass dakota73kid@hotmail.com

You may not be able too, probably ruin surface of lens, why not go to Ebay and try to buy a used one, or maybe one of the sponsers on this web site<br />bye Norm

DK you might try the compound they use to polish<br /> motorcycle wind screens. I used to use it on video game screen overlays and it worked great to remove even some of the more serious scratches.
