Does anyone know if it is possible to rub out
spider-like webbing cracks on the surface of my
weather exposed compass lens? It's a Gemini type
bubble bulb type compass :( dakota73kid@hotmail.com

Re: old compass lens

how come this question had 4 posts to it, but only my own stupid answer shows up, post no. 5??
Are we suppose to monitor our questions 24 hours a day so we can answer them as they answer us?
I see others get 3-4 answers to their questions and the answers stay with the question.
If anyone notices this, and they are one of the 4 post before, please answer again, before the summer is up!
Thanks Norm on Saginaw bay

DK you might try the compound they use to polish
motorcycle wind screens. I used to use it on video game screen overlays and it worked great to remove even some of the more serious scratches.
