Bought a old 1983 Sea Ray srv245 and it has the old detmar charger on board and I believe its a converter as well. I can't get power from the outlets except for shore power. The model number is 1-700 series. I have some paper work on it from the original owner and it says it will provide 15 amp accessories power. It has two terminal strips on it. right side has two red on two positive terminals and one black on one negative. there are two positive open wich it says it can handle 4 batteries. The other side has two wires hooked to two positive and a ground, I take it this is wired into the shore power. The power panel on the boat has a switch for converter and it does turn it on and off when power is hooked up. Is this just a charger or can it be used as a power supply for the outlets?
