I recently purchased a used 14 ft. utility-v bottom boat('73 Sea Nymph 14R)
and it came with two trolling motors. One is an old 12 lb. thrust Shakespear
Sigma 12,and the other a Johnson with a foot control. The Johnson is the
one I am most concerned with as I am trying to figure out exactly how old
this thing is. The model no./serial No. tag is scratched and faded making these numbers very hard to read. From what I can tell,...the model no.
appears to be either 1BE-2H or 4BE-2H. It is white in color if that makes any difference. I have a buddy on a fishing website I am a member of and he is
wanting to know the model no. on the Johnson foot control TM. My goal is
to sell both motors and use the money towards a brand new Minn Kota or
improvements to my boat.
