New to wiring! I have read several posts on wiring the new fuel sender to gauge and ignition. I think I've got the first part but I am paranoid about dying in a boat fire
1. My old sender had pink going to the center nut and the green bond (sender to filling thingy) and negative back to gauge.I have replicated the same configuration. With the exception that the new sender has a quick connect so I attached both the bond and the negative to that terminal. Is this a problem?
2. What is the best way to permanently connect the quick connect terminal, I would prefer a screw. I don't want it working its way free on rough water.
I will attach pictures, the old and new are obvious.
