Finally got my garage sale, QD16 10hp running tonight. What a sweet sound.

New impeller, points, condensor, coil, plugs and carb rebuild.

Thanks to everyone who assisted on my prior posts. I was a 2 stroke, outboard rookie before this.

Great site. Lots of help.

Yeah, I'm still a rookie. But you should have seen the grin on my face when that thing fired up! Wife thought it was pretty funny.

Trash can running went fine. Next, I will try real lake water!
