anyone out there that can give info on years that johnson made 35hp that had panel too get to pull cord it has elec start / but no old gen like my other old omc motors have/anyone have pics i might could tell more about it

'57 to '59 and then resurrected in the 60's as a 33hp I think. Are these old catalogs the sort of thing your looking for? I belive the generator was always an option on these engines, even if you did get the starter.

You are correct Paul. Charging was an option back then. That's mainly why you don't see a lot of these older motors with generators.
