I just bought an older evinrude -model # 335528-a 33 hp ski-twin

What is the appropriate oil fuel ratio. My marina suggested 24:1 but my buddy says it will run better with a leaner 35 or 40:1

Help

Thanks papasage .

50:1 is quite a bit leaner than the local marina suggests.

Is this the ratio called for in the operator's manual?
