My old Lowrance X91 has sprung a leak. It still works after a little time in the sun. If I take this apart to let it dry quicker will I ruin it?

Its will work ok, but you need to fix the seal and flood it with nitrogen.

Put it in a nylon stocking (yes, really!). Then put it is a gallon ziploc bag with as much uncooked rice as you can fit. Close the bag and wait a few days for the rice to absorb the moisture.

Of course, this won't prevent future fogging.

Thanks guys. Well, I don't have any nitrogen on hand so I'll try the rice bagged method. The reason it was outside was because I could'nt get the wires off. BIL figured that out. If/when this works I will bring it in when I get home.
