Older lund boat, need help please!

I Have purchased a older stripped down Ski Boat, It has been on a private lake for 20 years or better, the guy I purchased it from does not have any title for it, nor does it have any visable id Numbers. Anybody have any suggestions how to get this legal and me fishing? lol. I have no clue on the age of this either, any suggestions?

Check for stamped numbers on the starboard stern corner, maybe they have been painted over?

Nice-looking rig, I'd want to get her legal too. Check w/ your local gov't agency to see what they need to get a new title.

Looks to be a 70s model or earlier, the stern is pretty rounded and not deep-V enough to be a newer model. Give Lund a call, they are known to be helpful getting IDs for old boats.

Not sure about Missouri, but in Ohio they will assign you a HIN if you tell them its a home made boat. With something that old you shouldn't have a problem. Strip off the lund decals, however.

Any advice we offer will be mere speculation. Tell your story to one of the gals at the revenue office and see what they recommend. There's always a way......

If it's 70 probably no HIN on transom would have been on Placard, probably gone now.
