I have a 1970 7 HP Eska. It has decent compression, good spark, and runs fine in neutral, but as soon as I put it in gear, it dies. I have gone through the carb and replaced anything that looked questionable, cleaned it really well, put in a new fuel pump element, and I think I got it clean. I also know that full fuel flow is getting TO the carb. My relatively uneducated first guess is that this is still a fuel problem (obviously), but if there is someone out there with detailed knowledge of this problem, I would love some advice on how to proceed. Could it be anything other than a fuel problem?
