OMC 1.6L/Johnson 115hp

For starters I am trying to rebuild an OMC seadrive 1.6l. The trim/tilt bracket are fine. But the motor needs rebuilding. So far I have everything apart but it seems the crankshaft is stuck on the drive shaft. Any Ideas? I am using a hoist and still no go, been working on this for a couple of weekends. Thanks in advance.

Hi Fl. porchdog,<br />Take the pressure off the powerhead,use a prybar and go around the lower part of the powerhead prying the powerhead loose form the adaptor plate.<br />This always works for me if I've removed all the bolts and nuts. You did remove the two nuts in front and the two in back above the exaust reliefs didn't you?<br />Hope this helps
