omc 115 trying to free the lower case from engine

ok HELP AGAIN PLEASE LOL , alright im going to do a few things, first im going to change water pump kit ,, now i got the bolt or pin holding the shift rod out and i got all the bolts on the lower unit off i think ther was 8 of them, now why wont the lower unit drop?? we gently gently tryed to pry the houseing loose, not, didnt work took a rubber mallet and taped the main houseing, nothing, shook and shook the hell out of it, still nothing SO am i missing a bolt or something or is it corosion stopping this from droipping it wiggles but will not drop one little bit PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME IF I CAN GET THIS OFF IT WILL SAVE ME$180 BUCKS SO ANY DEAS GUYS IVE GOT IT RAISED UP RIGHT NOW DOES THIS HAVE TO BE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO DROP OUT??? im lost please help me im tired and starting to stress i can work on deisel trucks and cars boats should be easy not... talk to me guys let me know what to do thxs tom

hey if you hve all the bolts out try prying between the cases
if it is a saltwater motor you may be in for a bad time
just got my lower off my 150 you dont want to know what i went through
you can check my old post just about evaryone on here gave me
advice. if you want mine take it to a mech but check him out first i wish i would have paid mine the 175 $ the water pump kit alone is 60$

sorry if i duplacate im very very frustrated, just spent 1600 hundo and same problem just tryin to do what you guys say im able to but running into problems dont know if im doing something wrong or what but i wont ask no more sorry..

Be very careful trying to pry on the lower unit they break easily. under the little fin thing there is a bolt about two inches inside i almost broke mine cause i didnt remove. good luck.

you could trying wooden weges it didnt work on mine but mine was bad
but thats if you have all bolts out . if you have all bolts out .
post again if you cant get it off,and iwill tell you how i did mine .

but i would not try it unless its your last choice.
cracked my mid sec and had to have welded ,tig argon .
