Ok i need some help, I have 1984 3.8 liter omc with stringer outdrive, I have to make some identifications, Im assuming it mechanical shift, not hydro shift, the actual cable part number on the cable is 982795, but from what i can see the parts list calls up a 982563, this difference is prob do to model changes in the previous years, can anyone help with info on this for me? Are both cables identical?
