Omc 5.0 305...

my boat does ok while putting around, but if I open it up for a bit and shut it off it won't start. You have to let it set for 20 minutes or so. Any ideas? Thank you.

It doesn't seam that hot

Vapor lock?
wore out coil?
fuel tank issues?
fuel filter issues?

You are going to have to duplicate the problem and do some testing to really find out.. Otherwise you will end up throwing parts at it for a week..
