OMC 5.0 outdrive upper unit replaced

First time running after replacement overheated had impellor replaced, now doesn't overheat at low rpm, but at higher rpm's jumps up to 200+degrees

We need to know what unit you are talking about. Is it a stringer pre 1985 or a Cobra 1985 to the end.

If this is a salt water boat check the exhaust manifolds and risers for blockage.
