I picked up a 78 19' silverline with OMC i/o it has the 800 stringer outdrive and a ford 351 windsor for a powerplant. the last owner did not winterize it.. The heads were not cracked. but both exhaust manifolds were cracked, one was repairable and the other one was replaced.. i also had to replace 2 soft plugs.. The fuel pump also was bad, as the siteglass on the fuel pump had a combination of oil and gas in it.. My question is. First of all the oil after about 4 changes is like a light brown color almost like milk white.. but doesnt appear to have water in it. could this have been caused by the leaking fuel into the crank case? 2ndly when the engine is warm and running approx 2500/3000 rpms it starts getting steam like blowby from the breather cap.. the engine runs rock solid with no knocks, pings, or misfires.. any help is greatly appreciated. if needed i can snap a digital pic of the oil color..

You are definetely getting water in the oil.

The block is probably cracked in the lifter galley.
