OMC 800 lower shift cable

Ok guys I opened up the converter box and lo and behold I had about 3 strands of wire left holding the long cable kinda makes everything else moot till I fix it.I found one one the bay NOS for 430.00 with the gear&pully assy so it's on the way please check back as I know I will have more ? as I do this job thanks Dana BTW how's the clymer book? if any better than seloc(it's gotta be !) I wiil buy one.oops almost forgot which gasget kit do I need? thanks

Clymer just as bad; you need oem manual- try ebay.

It's for the mech shift Beef ,I have an 81 800 converted from what I can figure out as my microswitch setup looks different from any pix I have seen.
