I've got an '86 omc 800 outdrive that I'm re-finishing the exterior on. After stripping the paint off I kinda grew fond of the brushed aluminum look as opposed to the black paint. My question is if anybody knows if it'd be plausible to just preserve this look with some type of clear enamel or something or if anybody has ever done this? Thanks!
If she's a freshwater boat, might try some of this stuff, or some of the other clear finishes from Eastwood...
