Hi
I've seen an OEM manual on ebay for 1975 9.9's and 15's. Was there many changes made to these engines from 1975 to, say, 1986?

I'm thinking that the OEM manual, even though it's a 1975, might be better than the Seloc and Clymer ones that cover all the years. From what I've read in the Seloc and Clymer, there were no major changes between 1974 and 1986, just a few differences with ignition parts.

At the moment, I've got two 9.9's. A 1977 and a 1986. Do you think the OEM manual would be any good to me?

Thanks
Steve

OEM manuals are always good Steve. The big difference in the years you mention was the switch over to a CD ignition which done away with the points/condenser ignition. So that part of the manual wouldn't do ya much good. But the rest would help as far as other maint is concerned.
