OMC carb! What's the difference?

I bought a used 1980 seaswirl with a 140 Omc. The carb on the boat says rochester 17059053 (sierra part #18-7609) Iboats says my boat needs sierra part # 18-7608. Did someone before me put the wrong carb on? Please Help!

Somebody swappin it is always possible,

I might would call sierra, or Iboats may be able to tell ya for sure.

It s tough to tell which one would bolt up and fit by the pics they have.
