OMC Cobra loses power

I have an 1987 OMC 5.7 with a Cobra outdrive that shifts and idles great, but loses power when I reach about 1200 RPM. The engine continues to rev up but no power goes to the prop. Any Idea$?

Prop hub spun. Try another prop.
