My son has a 1990 Reinell 17M with a 2.3 OMC Cobra I/O. Last week he took it out for a trip up to a lake in the foothills, a trip of about 80 miles. Nearing the end of the tow, the outdrive came down onto the blacktop and took about 2 inches off the skeg and distroyed the prop before he could get stopped. The trim motor was running when he got stopped. He moved the shifter and it stopped running. My thoughts are a shorted wire or a bad rocker switch. Any thoughts??
