I have a 1987 Bayliner Hull and transom are sound, I have developed a water leak that is coming off the y pipe while in the lake. I removed the drive plugged lower exhaust ports and filled the exhaust bellow with water, I cannot get even a drop of water from this area. So I am thinking it must be coming from up above. Any ideas?

Welcome aboard

I have a 1987 Bayliner Hull and transom are sound,

if this is a true statement, then you have won the lottery. you will be the only one with a late 80's bayliner that has a sound transom unless you did a full restoration

I would go back to your transom and do some test drills.

There is no water at
all along the drive plate only coming off the exhaust pipe. If the hull was the problem it would be leaking down the back of the boat it is bone dry. 47B688AA-FE19-464C-8A81-6CD95CF53BD5.jpeg

It is coming from above the exhaust I assume as I said I filled the exhaust port and cannot get a drip
