Hi All. I just bought my first boat with a side control box--motor is a 96 Johnson 25, hull is '89, not sure of the control box year but probably '89. Can't find any basic info on using it. A couple questions:
-what is the knob under the ignition switch? Idle adjustment?
-what's the best starting procedure, in terms of position of warmup lever, and how do you choke? Push in ignition switch while cranking? (I read that somewhere)
Thanks. I know this is basic but I've only had tiller motors till now.
