OMC control box

Can anybody tell me before I take it apart, if the control handle is capable of being switched to the other side of the box. Control box is currently mounted on the right side of the boat with the handle/lever on the left side of the box. Can I<br />move the control box to the left side of the boat<br />and switch the handle to the right side of the box?<br />Strange, I know. Has anybody ever done something like this? Or know anything about these boxes.<br /><br />Smitty

Can see your particular box, but yes, most of them can be switched. Look at the other side of your box. If there is a tapered, splined hole in the center then you can switch the handle to that side.

Yep your right, it switched right over no problem. so did the kill switch.<br /><br />Thanks Smitty
