omc drive ratio issue ?

I replaced my 5.0 ford with a 5.7 engine 310 hp. I see that the ratios are different on the drive. 5.0 ford having 18t and the 5.7 16t. Will this be of any issue?

You may end up playing with your prop pitch to get the proper RPM at WOT.
